    Beachwood High School

eHighSchoolTickets.com LLC was created by owner and founder Marc Strauss in 2005. The business was founded with the mission of providing a streamlined process for high schools to sell and validate tickets for events such as sports, plays, and dances. Our vision is to be the leading provider of high school tickets online while supporting our schools through private enterprise funding.

Our service is free for students, parents, and schools because we invite local and national advertisers to place discounts and promotions on our website and ‘print-at-home’ tickets. For example, users of eHighSchoolTickets.com will receive exclusive access to discounts on their outfit or haircut for the upcoming homecoming dance. In addition, participating high schools will receive 10% of our gross revenue every year.

We realized that by creating a secure, confidential website that is easy to learn and simple to use, we could create a ‘win-win’ situation for everyone involved; students, parents, schools, and advertisers. Click here to read more about our Member Benefits.

Let’s keep our students on the field and on the stage…without having to “pay-to-play.”

HISTORY
While helping a friend at a local high school accept homecoming tickets, founder Marc Strauss noticed that parents were quite constrained with conventional high school ticketing procedures. Although the US is transforming to a “paperless society,” parents still don’t have the ability to purchase tickets for their children’s high school events with a credit card.

Mr. Strauss also noticed a meek financial situation with our nation’s schools. A simple ‘google’ search on high school budget cuts displays the presence of school deficits nationwide, negatively impacting our leaders of tomorrow. Unfortunately, these budget cuts and deficits cut the student experience, affecting both intracurricular and extracurricular development. In 2004, 31 states cut overall spending on schools. That’s 62% of our nation’s schools!

Additionally, Mr. Strauss oberserved that the chance of theft was too high when schools had cash ticket receipts. Only months after this realization, $8,000 in prom ticket receipts was stolen from a local high school. Click here to read the article.

Marc knew something had to be done, and eHighSchoolTickets.com LLC was born.
